Last workout before DesNews. Planned on doing a 4 mile tempo at roughly 6:30 and if I felt decent I would push the last mile to get it closer to 6:00. My legs have felt pretty sore lately and I have not run much at the 6:30 goal marathon pace so I didn't know how it was going to feel. Felt alright.

6:25, 6:24, 6:20, 5:56

I am a little nervous about DesNews and don't know how my leg will hold up on the several slower sections. Only easy miles for the next week and then going to give my all.

Those are great splits. Nice work! Now you can just relax until next Thursday! Don't psych yourself out about Des News...you've put in the training. Trust yourself! You'll do great!

You know a tattoo guy huh?

Nice run James. I am certain you can run these paces during the half on the flatter sections. Turn those nerves into hunger and excitement while visualizing the result.

Thanks Jen and Josh. Going to lay it all out there next Thursday and see what happens.

Regarding the tattoo guy, perhaps...
