Met Scott and Brayden at West High track and did 10x800. I guess this is the Yasso test before St. George. Goal was to be consistent at 2:50 for all 10 and leave some in the tank.  I think I accomplished that. Now, it is time to taper.

2:50.1, 2:49.9, 2:50.0,  2:49.8, 2:50.0, 2:49.8, 2:49.9, 2;49.9, 2:49.7, 2:50.0

(Decided to add the tenths because it wouldn't be as fun to type, or read, 2:50 ten times)

That is remarkable consistency and pacing!

Your ready! Nice work! What are you thinking of running the first half in? I've been going back and forth on this cuz the last half is definately faster and I don't want to go out too fast. I was thinking 1:26-1:27ish then going for a negative split what are you thinking?

Solid workout. Things are looking good for you.

Jake - I just got lucky I guess. I found my pace and it turned into cruise control. I had to work for some of them, but I was amazed how each split was so consistent.

Angie - I am feeling in a good spot. I don't know what my plan is for sure. I am likely going to target 1:25ish for the first half and then negative split.

John - It is going to be fun to race together.

Wow...you are more consistent than me! Nice work! You are ready for SG! Enjoy your taper!
