Thursdays are officially my moderate run or tempo run days from now until St. George.

Was planning on 12 miles with 2 mile up and 2 down and 8 at a moderate pace somewhere near 7:05. After the first mile I felt good so I just decided to make it a progression down and see if anything started to hurt more than normal. Everything felt fine so I just went with it. I feel good about this workout. I almost wish there was a field for "Moderate Pace Miles." For anyone who cares, I am considering roughly 6:30-6:50 as marathon pace and 6:50-7:10 moderate pace. Obviously that is mostly just for my own reference.

A lot of good comes from these sort of un-forced runs, regardless of how you label them. Nice job.

I was feeling pretty good about my workout until I saw yours. Nice work!

Good workout. You are looking strong and may be leaving me behind early in St. George

So maybe that last mile is a T? Great way to finish a workout. If you get in these medium long runs on Thursdays each week and long runs on Saturdays, you are there.

Thanks guys.

Jake - I feel like these workouts have already made a difference over the last few months.

Scott - Your workout was solid.

Hille - We will dominate St. George together, in a non-holding hands as we cross the finish line kind of way.

Josh - Perhaps the last mile is a T, who knows. The second half was run at 6:05ish so that was T territory I reckon.

Nice progressive tempo!
