Took the morning off. Wrapped the knee and went to work. Still not feeling great. Hopefully things start feeling better with more time off. Mowed the lawn by headlight and finished just after 8:30 PM. My IT hurt a little while mowing. The constant turning did not help things I don’t think. I decided to hop on the treadmill to test the waters. I rode for 35 minutes, the majority of which I was out of the saddle and in a harder gear. Interestingly, sitting in a normal biking position hurt my IT band a bit. Leaning forward and resting on my elbows made the pain go away. Standing and pushing it along in a harder gear (slow but steady) didn’t hurt either. Ok, I can do this for a while but man the spin bike is BORING! |
