6 miles with Jeff on the parkway. Almost no pain...almost. Took yesterday off and felt almost no pain all day. My knee sleeve arrived that I ordered. I figured a little compression and heat might help a little. I wore it all night and when I woke this morning I decided to take it easy this morning and give it a go. Felt good and kept it nice and easy. Started to feel a little tight after we turned around but it loosened back up. The final mile things started to ache a bit, but nothing serious. Ran a couple sub8 without knowing. Likely going to take tomorrow off again or spin. No reason at all to push things.

6 miles in the rain out on the parkway with Jeff. Less pain than 2 days ago. Good sign.

6 miles with Jeff. The last half mile or so things start to go from an ache to a bit of a pain. Pushed the pace a bit and averaged somewhere in the 7:40s. Didn’t really seem to increase the pain with the faster pace.

6 miles with Jeff. Similar but a little slower and a little less pain at the end. Perhaps pain does make a difference or things were just a little more rested. Too many variables to immediately point to pace being the factor.

4 miles around the field of the track in St. George with Jordan on a few of the laps. Felt good to get out after 3 days of trial. Ran barefoot. First time I have ever done that and it worked well for me. I ran 4 miles pain free. The leg still hurts, but no pain while running. That is great for me.

5.4 with Ashley at the park. Slow. Felt good. I need to stretch more and get loose. It is amazing how stiff and tight I am. I wonder how much of it is my back?

6 on the shoreline with Ashley. Felt good to be on dirt again. I have missed that segment of trail. I have not run it since the 100. Was a little nostalgic.

4 up to sunset. First run in snow. Peacefully solo...until the end. Fell hard on my back on a rock with a mile to go.
