| Had the day off and I have not run a marathon in a while...so Guardsman's Pass across the crest and home. Mother Nature put on a firework show and I had a peaceful solo run mostly on single track. | Well, sometimes when you lack motivation and you can't decide if you can get in shape for a fall race you go out and buy new shoes and then run a tempo (not in the new shoes).
Southern loop with 4 miles at tempo in the middle. Nothing crazy, but felt good to clip off some miles a little quicker and not feel like I was dying.

| First time to Lake Blanche and it didn't disappoint. It is a nice trail with a good amount of climb for a few miles up.
