easy solo miles up Mueller. Mid-day and slightly breezy.

It was interesting to run this route today. It was almost like I was saying hellow and goodbye to a good friend. A friend with whom I became really acquainted last summer training for Wasatch. I ran Mueller many times. One week I think I ran it 4-5 times. It is a great go-to and one where I can simply cruise and get lost in it all. I like that.

Easy on the parkway with Jeff. He made it through another busy season at his job. As a result, he thought he was going to die this morning.

Another easy 6 with Jeff on the parkway. Good times chatting about upcoming changes. He is moving on Friday and I don't know when we will run again. He is heading north and eventually we will be heading farther south. He has been a great friend and it has been super convenient to have someone close to log some miles with.

Met Jake and his coworker Steve in Millcreek. Did a good loop up Pipeline and over to the Terraces and back. Morning was beautiful and the temps were great!

Solo on the parkway. It was a warm morning and felt great. The lighting show was spectacular.

Up to Dude and back with Brayden and Scott. Perfect trail conditions. The next several weeks will be prime for wild flowers and all of the greenery. It's that time of year where it looks more like the Pacific Northwest than Utah.

Took yesterday off because I didn't sleep well at all. Hit the parkway this morning and I felt better than I have in months. Clipped off a couple sub 7 and logged my fastest mile on my new watch (at least that is what the watch said) at a 6:31. Nothing crazy but felt nice to feel good.

The parkway again. Coming down to the final time I will be venturing out onto the parkway for a while I think. She has been good to me.

5 mile loop through Holladay and Millcreek. The s-curve was calling and it was nice to be running on some familiar roads.

Met Jake A. at Rattlesnake and went up and along the Pipeline. Did a 5 mile tempo in the middle. So, 2.5 up and 2.5 down with the steeper climb right at the end of the first 2.5. My legs were starting to feel like jello. Felt good. I could get used to that trail as a go-to.

Met Fritz, Daniel, Noah, and Adam at Clayton and did a nice big loop to the south with a spin through Sugar House Park. It was great to run with them but my legs faded hard in the last mile. Consistent sub-7s might take some getting used to again. Especially after yesterday's run.

Cold. Wet. Windy. 10 on the Pipeline with Scott. Was super fun even though it was freezing the last few miles.

What I call the "Ogden curse" struck again. Glad I was not racing Ogden or the "fun" run this morning.

Millcreek and Holladay loop with John and Scott. Scott was on an unannounced mission for some faster miles. Fun morning and good start to the week.

Slept in. Was up until 1:00am trying to fix a leak that had been draining into the basement. Hope I can get out later, but that is always tough.

Loop with Scott and John. I felt a little off. My ankle was hurting and my left hamstring was firing weird. Oh well. I am sure it will go away. Fun to be running with the crew again.

Loop through Millcreek and Holladay with John. He extended on for a longer run while I bailed to go to work. Saw Fritz and crew shortly after we started. Next week we will have to combine forces for a large morning crew.

Ankle felt alright and hamstring didn't really bother me at all. Wore my ankle sleeve all night and on the run.

Larger Millcreek and Holladay loop with Scott early. Nice to be done by 7:30. I kind of want to get out this evening for an easy Pipeline or Shoreline jaunt.
